There is a PAC that I belong to, and I want to bring to you this newest video we have put on the net. It is entitle, “Sarah Palin Better Than Barack Obama”. It describes the difference in experience between the Republican Vice Presidential candidate and the Democrat Presidential candidate. It is by Our Country Deserves Better. We certainly do.
Here is yesterday’s press release:
(SACRAMENTO – September 25, 2008) – The Our Country Deserves Better Committee (website: www.OurCountryDeservesBetter.com) – a federal PAC organized to defeat the Obama/Biden ticket – applauds Senator John McCain’s decision to make his priority the economic needs of this country and focus on the crisis that has hit the financial industry. As a U.S. Senator, he has decided to put the job he was elected to do ahead of his political aspirations.
However, since we are not elected officials, the Our Country Deserves Better committee will continue to campaign for the McCain/Palin ticket, and against the Obama/Biden ticket, and to that end we are releasing today this new web-ad: “Sarah Palin Better Than Barack Obama.” The ad contrasts Palin’s executive experience with Obama’s lack thereof, and notes that Obama’s perceived strength – his gift for gab – isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.
I have the video here for your convenience.
May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

This whole “executive experience” argument is such a straw man. Like Obama, John McCain has never been a governor, so by your definition, Palin has more experience than McCain. Are you suggesting that she’s more qualified than her running mate to be President?
Palin supporters continue to point out that she’s the governor of the largest state in the nation. At 591,000 sq. miles, that’s geographically true. But the electorate isn’t measured in land mass, it’s measured in constituents. At approx. 683,000, Alaska’s population ranks 47th in the nation. More people evacuated from the city of Houston for Hurricane Ike than live in her entire state. By comparison, Washington DC, at 61 sq miles (that just 1/100th of 1%!!!) has almost as many people: 588,000. There are at least 15 US *cities* that have bigger populations than the state of Alaska! So tell me, of what significance is being governor of the “largest state in the nation”, other than the fact that it make for convenient political spin?
That is correct. In an application for a REAL job (ie. manager, chef, or something in that arena), she has more experience! Look, I do NOT like John McCain. While I absolutely revere his service to our country, I do not like his wishy-washy politics.
On the other hand, I LOVE SARAH! I don’t often write about politics anymore, but I like a good chuckle every now and then.
You are certainly correct that ANY Senator probably does not have executive experience, nor would any executive! The presidency is a job I honestly believe no one can be prepared for all its magnitude.
I also don’t like the way people have been treating Sarah. It’s disgusting and sexist. Why, pray tell, all of a sudden are the NOW gals screaming that a woman should STAY HOME to raise HER child??? Can you clue me in on that one?
She is the true feminist. She is the type of feminist which I ascribe to, as Susan B. Anthony before us. Yes, one of the ladies who paved the way for womens suffrage! (The right to vote.)
I hope you have a very nice day, and please feel free to stop over anytime. 😉
Now the sexist thing I can understand. If you feel she’s being treated unfairly because of her gender, then by all means shout it out. My issue is with the way the McCain people keep touting certain aspects of her career (executive experience, largest state, etc) as if they are an answer to the concerns raised by the other side. They are not answers, they are distractions. Its like this whole “lipstick on a pig” thing. No one seems to remember that Palin described *herself* in a similar manner (a pit-bull instead of a pig) during her very first national speech.
I can understand some women’s groups being upset about her apparent lack of parental concern, but these are the same groups that cry traitor when powerful women give up their careers to raise families. They try to have it both ways, so I ignore them.
I also think she *has* been put under a microscope, but that’s to be expected. On a national level, McCain’s been in the public eye for 26 years, Biden for 36 and Obama for 5. Each has endured the scrutiny of sometimes-friendly, sometimes hostile media. We’ve had a chance to get to know them. But Palin was non-existent on the national scene before McCain chose her as a running mate. All we have to go on is her published bio and the campaign spin. We’re asked to accept her at face value. If we’ve learned anything as a nation, it should be that no matter what our party affiliation is, we shouldn’t believe everything we’re told. If Palin wants to be taken as a serious candidate, she has to undergo an intensified, compressed period of scrutiny.
This is not her fault, nor is it intended to be a criticism of her. Its the price she has to pay for McCain’s out-of-left-field choice.
Thanks for listening – de colores!!

Ya know, I agree with you so much it’s spooky! lol. Nothing they’ve done tells me anything about their policies. If I were not such a political hack, I wouldn’t know. However, I can judge people by what they do.
I do believe John was sincere when he went back to DC, because Paulsen had called him to tell him that the bailout was in trouble and they needed his across the table help.
BTW, this is what I meant by wishy-washy politician. He most of the time sides with Democrats and degrades us Conservatives. What’s up with that?
Do you remember the big battle we had over the AMNESTY? When we shut down government by shutting down the switchboard? (I LOVED THAT!) Well, during that debate we were called racists by MCCAIN! Why? Because we dared to ask that someone PLEASE enforce the laws of this Sovereign country! Oh my!
In conclusion, you and I are correct. Let’s get to the issues and what are their plans for dealing with them. Period. The parade is over! 😉
Dear dcj2,
See, I do not put up every ad I’m sent. Take this one for example: Obama Connection To Capitol Bomber William Ayers Topic Of New Ad. (YouTube)
Sometimes many of us feel frustrated because Obama has NOT been vetted with the same scrutiny as Sarah. As a matter of fact, I’m very worried about many of the things I’ve learned about Obama since I had to do my own research. If the press would have done their job instead of falling all over themselves, we would not be this divided in our country. I truly believe this.
I have nothing against Democrats. They are very kind and loving people who just happen to be wrong most of the time. lol. It is the Left/Marxists that I despise. The violent ones who make up lies and steal opposition posters, key their cars, and attack them physically. That is not a democratic-republic. That is tyranny. I will always against tyranny!
I will always stand with whoever is on the side of free speech. There are so many things we have in common, it is a shame we cannot people like us to run for any office because of the way we are treated. 😦
