Rest in Peace Tim Russert

I know many have already heard the news that Tim Russert has died of a (possible) heart attack while at work earlier this afternoon at the age of 58, but I want to add my 2 cents. I could always count on Tim to have an interesting show, unless I really couldn’t stand the interviewee. That would be my hang-up, not his. He tried to treat everyone fairly, and he was mostly successful. When you made it to the Meet the Press show, you made it! I did think he may have been a little tougher on Conservatives than Liberals, but that again could be my perception. This is not a bad thing. Do not misunderstand me. It is good that our politicians get the tough questions. This way, we can see what kind of backbone (if any) they had. lol.

Who out there can fill his shoes? I cannot think of one person save Bret Hume from Special Report over at Fox News. I doubt they will ask him, and it will be to their loss. Am I suggesting that Tim is easily replacable? Of course not! That is why it is so hard to find anyone to take his place on a show that Tim literally pulled up from the ash heap of history.

Tim Russert will certainly be missed, and I will continue to carry the mantra of Bills for you, Tim. Go Bills! Rest in sweet Peace, Tim. May your family find solace in the outpouring of love and prayers that are following this sudden, horrible news. May you rest in Peace, Tim, and thank you for all that you’ve given. God bless you.

Remember your safety course while on bike, please

This next article is a sad one. It is one that shouldn’t be written, because it didn’t have to happen. We love you guys, and we need to you to stay alive. Not dead because some driver didn’t see you. Do whatever you can to prevent these accidents. Please. NGAUS has the article.

Motorcycles Deadly for National Guard Soldiers in 2008.

Fifteen National Guard soldiers have been killed in motorcycle accidents this year, said the deputy director of the Army National Guard. That’s already more than were killed in all of 2006.

That’s one reason Maj. Gen James Nuttall rode the Guard’s Patriot Chopper at the front of Rolling Thunder on Memorial Day in the nation’s capital. He and the thousands of other motorcycle riders were honoring service members still missing in action from America’s wars. But he was also calling attention to motorcycle safety, decked out as he was in helmet, protective eyewear, gloves, proper footwear and a reflective vest.

Although the Patriot Chopper is designed as a recruiting tool, Nuttall said, “We use it to demonstrate that you can ride a cool motorcycle and still be safe.” Among Guard soldiers, sport bikes are the number one killer of those 26 years of age and younger. “It’s like training a soldier to go to war,” Nuttall said. “You wouldn’t send them in untrained, so why be untrained and unready when you’re out riding a motorcycle?”

The Memorial Day event was also a chance to remember the 515 National Guard soldiers killed since Sept. 11, 2001. “Those numbers are fairly representative of our participation in the war,” Nuttall said. “That doesn’t sound like a lot of people, unless it’s someone close to you.”

For the past 21 years, bikers from all over the country have joined the Rolling Thunder tribute ride through Washington. The bikers ride from the Pentagon to the National Mall.

News: Illegal aliens

I have a few articles for you today. The first one pertains to an article in which over 30,000 illegal aliens are stopped from voting in Arizona on May 12, 2008, another article concerns the arrests of several hundred illegal aliens in Iowa recently and one concerns Jameel Shaw.

First of all, this just goes to show you why the democrats wanted to keep ID’s out of the hands of the voterless (illegal voters)! This is just the same as those folks who only come out of their graves on election day. Amazing how do that! To read about this article, please visit Stephen Frank’s website.

Second we have a story that you may already be familiar with, but I still think it’s important to remind you so you will get off your buns and call the Congress tomorrow toll free at 1-866-340-9281 and tell them to take out the H-2B visas! Yes, they took out the Ag Workers Amnesty bill from the War budget, but this is hidden in there! Reid left in the bill another giant increase of UNSKILLED imported seasonal GUEST WORKERS, from 66,000 to over 400,000 annually by 2011!

Who is eligible?

The H2B visa is available to employers of foreign workers not working in the agricultural field. This visa is only available for work that is temporary in nature. For H2B purposes, that means:

**Recurring seasonal need;
**Intermittent need;
**Peak-load need; and
**One time occurrence.

The employer must also prove that there are no unemployed US workers willing or able to do the work. This is established through the state’s employment agency using a labor certification process. This process requires a recruitment campaign, including advertising in a local newspaper for available temporary workers.

Visa validity.

The duration of the visa is limited to the employer’s need for the temporary workers. The maximum authorized period is one year. However, the employer may extend the duration of the visa up to three years — but with a very close watch from the immigration authorities. [Source: H2B visa.]

This article is exactly the reason why we certainly do NOT need anymore illegal aliens in our country. How many more people have to die before we, the American people, the citizens of these United States, have a say in who is and is not allowed into this country?

While this article is about the arrest of illegal aliens who are taking jobs away from you and me, the news about Jameel’s name is being dragged through the mud. He was 17 years old, lived in Los Angeles, a fabulous football player, had great grades, and he was murdered by an illegal alien who was released from jail not 24 hours prior to murdering him. Why was he in jail? Possession of a weapon illegally. Let’s go through this again. He’s illegal. He illegally has possession of a gun. He’s arrested. Because in Las Angeles you are not allowed to ask anyone’s. ANYONE’S, status for being in the United States, he is released and allowed to murder a nice young man.

Now someone has gone into myspace and made up some crap about him. They put things on it to make it appear that he was in a gang. Let me explain this to you. GANG MEMBERS DO NOT GET GOOD GRADES, SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE, and that’s the bottom the line. I could open a site right now and call myself George W. Bush! Would people believe it was his? Only idiots that do not understand how the internet works.

So what is happening? The news is reporting it as if it were fact. They are trying to destroy this man, although he’s already dead and cannot defend himself, so that they can rationalize why he was murdered. HUH? EVEN IF it were his site, whatever happened to, ‘Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me’?

Parents, get a hold of your children! Illegals, get out of my country! America, wake up. Mexico wants the area from Texas to Utah and westward in their possession. Maybe you don’t live here, but I do. I’m not giving it up. I need your help, though. When the war breaks out, I may not make it. You can bet I will try my best. I am an AMERICAN. It is in my blood. Is it in yours?

Osama bin Laden is a moderate muslim

Is this a correct statement? Let us consider the facts, the evidence as some may say.

I have read much this week (and in the past) about the Koran, terrorism, torture, rape, molestation, slavery, Muslims, moderation, and much more. Today I will focus on how the Muslims who are faithful to the Koran consider Kafirs (non-believers).

Let me define some words as we begin our study of the evidence.

Kafir:

The kafirs are condemned to Islamic Hell because we don’t accept Mohammed as any kind of prophet or leader. We are the dhimmis, the slaves, and the slain of every continent. Unfortunately, the kafirs are the ignorant, the unknowing and the frightened. We don’t know anything about the 270 million dead killed in the name of Allah. But consider the rest of our vast ignorance…¹

Here is another defination of the same word according to Muslims:

The usual translation of this Arabic word is unbeliever, but unbeliever is only a very small part of its meaning. It is the Koran that defines the word “kafir” and it says the most terrible things can happen to them. The Koranic doctrine about kafirs says they are hated and are Satan’s friends. Kafirs can be robbed, killed, tortured, raped, mocked, cursed, condemned and plotted against. The Koran does not have one good thing to say about kafirs. ²

Now let us define ‘Moderate Muslim‘ as the Muslims define it:

Islamic doctrine defines what is moderate and not moderate. Since we are dealing with Islam, we need to know that the doctrine is dualistic. Islam can have two doctrines about any issue. This follows from the Koran. The early Koran, which was written in Mecca is generally religious. The Koran written in Medina is very political and includes jihad. The two Korans are not only very different, but they also contradict each other in major ways.

So we have the possibility of two kinds of moderate Muslims, since we have two doctrines. Osama bin Laden is a moderate Muslim, who follows the Koran of Medina, the Koran of jihad. Kafirs call him an extremist or radical Muslim. Actually, Osama obeys the Koran of Medina and the Sunna of Mohammed, so he is a moderate, pious Medinan Muslim.

The jihadists on September 11, 2001 were all moderate Medinan Muslims. They were not extremists or radicals. ²

Does this not bother a whole lot of people besides me that our government is so ignorant to these facts? Now that we have gained a very little deeper understanding as to how the Muslims truly think about us, let us see what these definitions have led to in the past and what we have done about it. This is the only way we will be able to learn how to deal with our enemy.

For over the last 1400 years, 270 million kafirs have died as a result of the political doctrine of Islam. It is the biggest single source of suffering in the history of the world. ²

–Almost none of our diplomats and “experts” have never read any of the Trilogy, nor were they taught the doctrine of political Islam in college.
–Jews and Christians do not know about the Arabian Annihilation (the elimination of all Jews and Christians from Arabia).
–People don’t know that white women were the slaves of choice among Muslims for 1400 years.
–Our media and intellectuals do not acknowledge rape of the kafirs as a weapon of war.
–Christians don’t realize that they lost half their territory and 60 million people to Islam in Turkey, Syria, and North Africa.
–Political Islam destroyed half of Hindu culture.
–Political Islam annihilated most of Buddhist culture.
–Islam destroyed all of the native religious culture of Africa in Islamic areas. ¹

Well, I suppose this may come as a shock to some people, it did to me and I know a tiny bit more about this topic than the average American. How can this be? Why do I know more about Communism than this war they have declared against us over 230 years ago?

This is probably why Bill Warren wrote this article, “An Ethical Basis for War Against Political Islam,” and sat down for an interview to discuss the “Kafir Dreams” with FrontPageMag.com. Mr. Warren is the director of the Center for the Study of Political Islam. He is also the spokesman for Political Islam.com.

My question to you is this, does this change anything? Is this so out of the ‘norm’ that you will not even consider it? I remember a time, long ago now, when there were many who said it was crazy to throw off the yoke of England. We would be called traitors, we would be hanged. (Okay, maybe I wasn’t actually there, but it is part of our history!) Are we going to remain ignorant as to who the enemy truly is in this war?

Am I declaring that all of Islam is at war with us? Yes, I am. We need to read up on this, because our political people, the State Department, the CIA, the FBI, the police, and anyone else who works for the government has never tackled these issues. They refuse to look into this possibility out of fear (which is also covered in these articles). Until we open our eyes and face the truth, we are sitting targets. I have been called many things in my life, but never a coward. I am not about to be a target. Are you?

Wednesday Hero: MoH Recipient Lt. Michael P. Murphy

This is a very special Hero who is close to many of our hearts. He shall surely be remembered forever. He is one of the four Navy SEAL’s who were in that God-foresaken land called Hindu Kush, Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. On this day, he went far above and beyond the call of duty to save his unit. There were four of them, only one survived that deadliest day of the US Forces since Operation Enduring Freedom began.

What this man did was incredible. He was the man on the radio, and they were 10,000 miles high trying to fight the Taliban after being ambushed. Earlier that day, they had accidentally run into a farmer and his son. They had to make a quick decision: Do they let them go so those Afghanis could give away their position, or should they get rid of any witnesses? They let them go, and these ungrateful pieces of trash gave away their position. The fight was a very long one, it lasted for what seemed like forever.

Lt. Murphy knew that if they did not get any help from overhead, they were not going to make it out of there alive. So what did he do? He made sure his unit was covered, and then he made himself a target. He had to go out into the open to get a radio signal, and he did so. He was killed trying to call for help. You can read about this act of heroism in Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (SEAL) Marcus Luttrell’s book, “Lone Survivor.”

While I cannot find my copy of the book right now (I’ve been cleaning), it is an incredible book, and I urge you to read it. If you really want to know what it is like to be in the US Armed Forces out there in the middle of nowhere, then this is the book for you.

When you finally open your eyes (if you haven’t already), please join us. We do not care where people come from. We do care that they come here legally. Do not be intimidated when they start calling you a racist, a bigot, a nationalist, or any other derrogatory word. This IS our Nation. It is called the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. Not Mexico, not Middle East, not Europe, not Canada, not China, etc. It just so happens that Mexico and Canada border our country.

Many times, Canadians cross the borders as well. They usually come for our medical services and THEY PAY for them. Then they go home! That is one of the big differences, but I want to make sure they do it legally. Just as the (over) 20-30 million Mexicans. If you can’t see that as an invasion, well, go away. Your stupidity bothers me.

Compassion? Since when is it compassionate to allow one culture to intimidate everyone else in their culture? The people who suffer the most from illegal aliens are the people who are of the same nationality as said criminals. At least think about it. Have a nice day.

UN still gets Darfur wrong

I received an email today from CNN that declares that the UN has miss calculated the death toll in Darfur, Sudan, by 100,000 people. They now put that count at 300,000. Well, have I got news for them. The number is more closely to 5-600,000. How do I know? Because I’ve been following this horrible tragedy since 2004! It was 200,000 people murdered in 2005. It remained at that number for 3 full years! Here is the CNN report:

U.N.: 100,000 more dead in Darfur than reported.

NEW YORK (CNN) — The number of deaths in Sudan’s Darfur region since 2006 may have been underestimated by as much as 50 percent, the U.N. undersecretary-general for humanitarian affairs said Tuesday.

In March, international figures, including U.N. data, put the death toll in Darfur at 200,000, with another 2.5 million people displaced. But 300,000 are believed to have died in the tribal conflict in the past two years, said John Holmes, who also is the United Nations emergency relief coordinator. Holmes said that sexual violence has increased and that food allotments for civilians affected by the civil war will be halved in a few days. [Great thinking. And everyone wants to count on the UN? *shaking head in disbelief*]

Holmes gave the U.N. Security Council an update on conditions in the western Sudan region, revisiting a report he gave a year ago. “I am sad to say that the humanitarian situation remains as grim today as it was then, if not more so,” he said. In 2008, 100,000 civilians have fled their homes, many not for the first time.

The Darfur conflict began five years ago, when ethnic African tribesmen took up arms, complaining of decades of neglect and discrimination by the Sudanese government. Sudan’s Arab-dominated government is accused of responding by unleashing tribal militias known as Janjaweed, which are said to have committed the worst atrocities against Darfur’s local communities.

There also have been intra-rebel and tribal clashes, Holmes added. He blamed the military arm of the Justice and Equality Movement faction of the Sudan Liberation Movement for the most recent round of violence, and he accused the government of using “disproportionate force” and failing to differentiate between civilians and rebels in their response.

“Darfur today is still characterized by insecurity, lawlessness and impunity,” he said. “A particularly worrying feature is evidence of high levels of sexual violence and exploitation in the northern corridor of west Darfur over the past two months.” This is shown by the increased number of women and girls seeking treatment after sexual brutality, Holmes said.

The World Food Programme announced last week that it will have to cut back its food distributions in May, partly because of attacks on convoys that reduced the amount of supplies they can get through, Holmes said. Six aid workers have been killed this year, and 42 humanitarian posts have been attacked. The supply line also is hurt by soaring food prices: The price of staples such as millet has doubled since April 2007, Holmes said.

While expressing gratitude to the Sudanese government for improved cooperation under various agreements, Holmes said there still is no physical access to internally displaced persons and some other groups. [WHAT COOPERATION???]

He said he was “saddened and angry” that after five years, there has been no lasting solution to the suffering. He made several recommendations to the government, including disbanding the Janjaweed, providing security for citizens, ending impunity for criminals and shouldering more of the financial burden for humanitarian aid. Holmes also said rebels must stop their attacks against people and humanitarian convoys. [May I add that the rebels only took up arms AFTER the ARABS where committing GENOCIDE? I guess that fact never phased anyone, though. *shaking head in disgust*] [Source: CNN.]

It angers me to no end that the democrats have not once brought this subject up in all of those ‘debates’, if that’s what you choose to call them. It is more like the coronation of Barack Obama who, btw, doesn’t give a crap about black people. These are arabs murdering blacks. TRUE AFRICANS. The Arabs are trying to colonize this AFRICAN country, and not one word from the democrats. They are enslaving boys and women (they kill the men), and not one word from the democrats. I do not understand the mindset of today’s black people living in this country. Why aren’t they as angry as I am?

PS. For those of you who do not understand why I am ragging on the democrats, I have done my fair share of ragging on the Bush Administration as well. Just read the articles. No one gets past these tenacles. I also had some great successes with the Conservative, religious groups and members of the Senate. We have passed the Darfur Peace and Accountability Act (HR 3127). This was a REPUBLICAN backed bill. The earlier bill, “Darfur Genocide Accountability Act” (HR 1424), however, could not get enough support from the DEMOCRATS. Just be careful who you decide to trust when the rubber hits the road against slavery…

If you would like to read the article I wrote for yourself, here it is. Have a nice day in your safe house with your safe bed and refridgerator full of food. But please, at least once a day, say a pray for those who are dieing just because they exist. Think of what they don’t have, before you start to complain about what you do not have. Then compare the difference in those ‘things’ priorities. Maybe there would be just a little less complaining. Do ya think?

I am asking you at this time to pray for these people. I am pleading with you. We can move mountains, if our faith is strong enough, and if we believe in God’s Word and promise to us. First we must pray for our country to repent of her sins, we must repent of our own sins, and we must continuously plea for the plight of these Darfurians. I believe it can work. We got that bill passed, didn’t we? We can do more! Let us begin with you.

Afghan, Coalition troops continue to neutralize Taliban

BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (April 15, 2008) – Several insurgents were killed by Afghan National Army and Coalition forces during a reconnaissance patrol, April 10, near Aminah Kalay, Zabul province. A group of insurgents attempted to ambush the patrol using small arms. The ANA returned small-arms and heavy machine-gun fire. During the attack, several insurgents were spotted relocating to a secondary position in an attempt to flank friendly forces. The ANA identified the enemy fighting position, engaged with small arms fire and called in close-air support, eliminating the enemy threat and destroying four motorcycles and three trucks.

Vets4Freedom, Gen. Petraeus, and USN Monsoor MOH

Vets For Freedom was covered by many bloggers, but I have one the best posts which has the speeches, many pics, and witty humor. I also have the transcript prior to Gen. Petraeus’ meeting with the goons. Let us not forgot forget, EVER, US Navy SEAL Mike Monsoor, Medal of Honor recipient, posthumously.

The Vets For Freedom was covered by Jonn at This ain’t Hell, but you can see it from here, and the title of his post is Vets for Freedom Rally for troops. He did a remarkable job capturing these amazing Veterans and other people such a lowly senators. Seriously, they couldn’t hold a candle to these gents. There are many photos, videos, and thoughts. Please, check it out. They also went into the pit (the capitol) to speak with our representatives and senators about what is really happening on the ground over in Iraq and Afghanistan. Did I mention these are Vets from recent wars as well? Yes, and they deserve a read!

The transcript of General Petraeus’ opening statement to the fools is made available by Blackfive’s site. Gosh, I should always read something first. This is Uncle Jimbo’s dream come true transcript. Yes, that means this is one they would like to put into the good General’s mouth. Well, it appears that most of the speech could have been by General Petraeus with a few exceptions. Now to come to a serious topic. Mike Monsoor. US Navy SEAL. HERO. He received the Medal of Honor today, posthumously. Blackfive has a very heart-felt and meaningful post for his friend. Yes, they were friends. I believe they became friends through e-mails, but still in all, they were friends. I know he did one of his ‘Someone You Should Know‘ shows about him. There are also a couple videos with tributes for Mike from some pretty special people. Some of the pictures are contributed from the family of Mike Monsoor. Here is President Bush honoring Mike. They just don’t make them like him too often…

Not to be outdone posting about USN Mike Monsoor, Stop the ACLU has noticed that the press has NOT noticed (at the time of sending this e-mail). Jay has written his own post, and he has encouraged us to do so as well. There is also a video on his post. Let Mike not go unforgotten. Thank you.

Coalition forces conduct airstrike in Basra, 2 criminals killed

BAGHDAD (April 3, 2008) — Coalition aircraft conducted a precision strike on a house in Basra Wednesday, killing two criminals. While conducting operations in support of Iraqi Security Forces, Coalition forces were attacked with small-arms fire by two criminals on a rooftop. The ground force called in supporting aircraft to engage the individuals. An F/A-18 carried out a precision airstrike on the house, and Coalition forces on site confirmed that two enemy were killed in the airstrike.

Coalition forces are unaware of any civilians killed in the strike but are currently looking into the matter.

“Coalition forces continue to provide tactical overwatch with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, and support aircraft, on an as-requested basis from Iraqi Security Forces in Basra,” said Cmdr. Scott Rye, MNF-I spokesman. “We go to extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of civilians when conducting operations, unlike criminal elements, who consistently put innocent civilians at risk.”
